Three of the abducted victims were identified as Sunny Hart, Thomas Allison and Theophilus Ibiama.
One of the victims, Sunny Hart is said to be the husband of the first daughter of the deceased, who is a Senior Magistrate with the Rivers State Judiciary.

Sources within the security apparatus revealed to Mysoundstorms that investigation was on to unravel the circumstances around the incident and apprehend the hoodlums.
An eyewitness told Mysoundstorms that one of the armed hoodlums was masked raising suspicions that he may be an indigene of the area and does not want to be identified.
