Euro 2020 postponed until summer of 2021

UEFA have officially decided to postpone the Euro 2020 until the summer of 2021 to allow European leagues to complete their seasons amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Norwegian FA confirmed the news on their social media accounts as they say the tournament which was to be held across 12 European cities and was scheduled to begin on June 12, will now be played between June 11 and July 11, 2021.

 "Uefa has decided that the Euros should be postponed until 2021. It will be played from 11 June to 11 July next year."

The decision comes after UEFA held conference calls with its 55 member associations, the board of the European Club Association and the board of the European Leagues.

The postponement provides a chance for European leagues that have been suspended to now be completed

 

NYSC Suspends Orientation Exercise, Close Camps Nationwide

The DG National Youth Service Corp has requested the suspension of the continuous NYSC Batch A 2020 Orientation Course in the midst of Corona Virus fears.

In an announcement on NYSC official Facebook page, they composed,

"Consequently, the Corps Members will be presented on start their essential assignments forthwith, while they will be welcomed back to the Orientation Camps when the circumstance improves, much the same as it happened a couple of years prior when the Nation was gone up against by the Ebola infection danger.

The executives wishes to express that no Corps Member or Camp Official has gotten the infection".

Davido – 1 Milli

Davido has release the video of his new single '1 Milli' off his "A Good Time" collection.

The first case of the Coronavirus pandemic in Rivers has been registered. This is coming from the official handle of the National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC).

 

The new cases includes 2 in Abuja, 2 In Lagos and 1 case in Rivers State making it 5 New cases in total. This means the Toll has increased to 51 across the federation in total as at 11:25 pm Yesterday 25th March 2020.





According to sources, 3 of the New cases are travelers who recently arrived Nigeria, while the 2 others had close contacts with the confirmed case.


Just recently, the Governor of Rivers made laws banning all land, air and water travels into the state indefinitely to prevent the virus spreading into the state. He threatened not to allow travelers access into the state even after arriving at the international airport.
He also explained how a traveler was prevented from gaining access into the state just recently.

Idris Elba Tests Positive To Coronavirus (COVID-19)

British actor Idris Elba says he has tried positive to the dangerous COVID-19 otherwise known as Coronavirus. The on-screen character shared this data over his twitter page few moments back;

He tweeted – "toward the beginning of today I tried positive for Covid-19. I feel alright, I have no side effects up until now yet have been separated since I gotten some answers concerning my conceivable presentation to the infection. Remain at home individuals and be down to earth. I will keep you refreshed on how I'm doing. No frenzy."

Davido’s Fiance Chioma Tested Positive To Coronavirus

Davido‘s fiance Chioma has tested positive to coronavirus after she, Davido and others return from London recently.

Davido recently disclosed this information over his twitter page few minutes ago.  Davido and 31 others that went on same trip all tested negative.

According to Davido, she is showing no symptoms and the baby is also doing fine.
