A total of forty teams (40) picked up forms to indicate interest of which only thirty one teams (31) submitted completed forms.
Out of the thirty one (31), sixteen teams (16) qualified to participate in the tournament after undergoing a screening process with the under listed criteria;
1. Players(s) must be resident in Bonny or neighbouring towns around the Island.
2. Player(s) must be indigene of Bonny Local Government.
3. Teams must feed at least 7 players whi are indigene of Bonny Kingdom in every match.
4. Player(s) must be between the ages of 17-30 years old as at the start of the tournament.
5. TEAMS MUST CONSIST OF 9 PLAYERS BELOW 23 YEARS OLD.
6. Player(s) must be available for fitness and medical test as ordered by the organizers.
7. Player(s) must provide their local Government and birth certificates for verification and easy of identification.
8. Player(s) must use all kits as provided by the Organizers.
9. Teams will not be allowed to replace players once registered and verification processes have been completed.
10. Player(s) must abide by all rules of the game during the tournament.
11. Players must abide and attest to all terms conditions as set by the Organizers
12. Teams must show proof of affiliation and existence with the Island.
13. Teams must have two Coaches who will be in charge of their players.
14. Players must be available for all games.
15. Teams should be made up of 18 players ( the 18 includes two goalkeepers)
